Travel
The distance between the Bergen airport Flesland and downtown Bergen is approximately 16 km.
The airport shuttle bus takes roughly 25 minutes to the main bus station. A one-way ticket costs ca. 100 NOK.
Alternatively, the local light rail, Bybane, goes roughly every 5 to 10 minutes from the airport to the main bus station on weekdays and costs 37 NOK (buy the ticket in the arrival hall at the airport before you board). The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.

The University of Bergen (UiB) Foundation will cover the registration fee and hotel for up to 7 students/early career scientists. The International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA) will provide travel support for up to two young scientists or participants from developing countries.
